Pascal Kaporoma

Welcome. I am Pascal Kaporoma, a poet who writes under the name “The Blind Seer.” My journey began in Chiredzi, Zimbabwe, where I was born on November 14, 2000. Raised by my uncle and aunties while my mother worked abroad, I learned to see the world through a lens of absence and longing a perspective that would later become the bedrock of my poetry.

Tanea Nyika

Hello, my name is Tanea Nyika, but as an artist, I simply go by Tanea. I was born on November 18, 2005, in Guru. Growing up, I had a unique family dynamic with two older half-brothers. I have one half-brother from my mum’s side who I grew up with and the other half-brother from my dad’s side who I met when I was twelve and it was an amazing experience to discover how much we looked alike. Unfortunately, my dad died when I was three.

Tanaka Tannekha

Some call me a Dark Poet, some a Pain Enthusiast- I say I’m just a girl. My name is Tanaka Tannekha, born in the heart of Mutare, Zimbabwe. My life story is anything but simple, and far from normal. Yet, it is precisely this struggle that forged the resilient voice I wield today.
