Workaway

MutARE Tales is more than an initiative; it’s a movement, and we invite you to be part of it.

Our vision is to create an environment where artists thrive, connecting with audiences and refining their talents. We aim for a Zimbabwe where artists are celebrated and empowered to sustain their livelihoods through their craft. This goal drives every initiative and event we host.
We’re excited to welcome creative individuals who share our passion for art and culture to join and inspire MutARE Tales. While experience working with youth in communities is a plus, it’s not a requirement.

Here is how you can support us:

  • We’re seeking sponsors and partnerships to ensure project sustainability and support the artists we work with. Do you have experience in fundraising, crowdfunding or networking to help us?
  • Help us maintain the website of MutARE Tales, moderate our social media accounts and developing fresh content.
  • We need mentors in various arts like dance, music, poetry, and painting, along with mentors to teach techniques in vocal training, stone carving, and painting to enhance our artists‘ abilities and final product quality.
  • Help our young artists define themselves in their art spaces, refine their profiles, and establish their brands. Additionally, support them in developing and enhancing their social media presence.
  • If you have experience with arts associations, we’d appreciate your help preparing our artists for performances, enhancing their stage presence and audience engagement for optimal results.
  • In October 2024, MutARE Tales is preparing for a mentor workshop for young artists, followed by a public performance. We need help in two areas: vocal training enthusiasts are welcome, and we also seek support for event preparation, hosting, and all the special details.
