Cyber Kings and Queen

About us

Hello, we are Cyber Kings and Queen, a dynamic dance group from Zimbabwe that fuses traditional and contemporary dance styles. Our group consists of six creative members: Arthell Mukondyo , Denzel Jerison, Sarah Mungote, Khulumani Mundabvu, Dylan Mudiwa, Godknows Ndazwa. Together we bring energy and passion to the stage and use dance to highlight social issues.

From Humble Beginnings to Success

We formed Cyber Kings and Queen during our days at Sakubva 2 High School. Although we did not receive any formal dance training, we developed our unique choreographies through self-study and inspiration from other African dance groups. Our breakthrough came in 2021 when we won the “Blow-by-Blow” competition, a moment that brought us new motivation and recognition.
Our dance style is versatile and ranges from traditional to modern choreographies. We use dance to convey important messages and raise awareness about issues such as drug abuse, child abuse and gender-based violence. We see ourselves not only as entertainers, but also as ambassadors for positive change in our community.

Supporting the Next Generation of Dancers

Sarah Mungote, our only female member, emphasises through her dances that women can achieve anything because she also dances techniques that are traditionally reserved for men. This message is important to us because we want to show young women that they can go their own way.

We are involved in our community and work with schools to inspire young people to dance and keep them away from negative influences. Our long-term goal is to establish a dance academy to nurture the artistic talent of the next generation.

We invite you to experience our performances on Instagram and follow our journey. Thank you for visiting, and we hope our dances inspire you!
