About us
Hello we are the Black Firm Band, an Afro-traditional music group from Zimbabwe. Our band consists of seven talented members, including Charlotte Chibe, known as Seina, the only woman in the group, and Wallace Castle. Formed in 2023, our music blends traditional sounds with modern influences to create unique and moving compositions.
Telling Stories Through Music
Our music tells stories from everyday life, highlights cultural traditions and addresses social issues such as love, gender issues and current challenges. Our goal is to use music to build bridges and promote positive change in our community.
Each member of the Black Firm Band brings unique talents and experiences to the table. Charlotte is our lead vocalist and also plays traditional instruments such as shakers. Wallace has a background in choral singing and contributes his voice and instrumental knowledge to the band.

Through our music, we aim to inspire our listeners to connect with Zimbabwe’s rich culture and engage in social issues. We believe in the power of music to bring people together and build a better future.
